Great for finding import food! Sometimes a little crowded and hard to get around. Awesome selections!! I love that they have paleo options (paleo cauliflower crust, paleo pizza baking flour, paleo flour, almond milk, veggie cheese, etc.). This store makes it easy to get excited about cooking healthy.
Actually a nice store, they have a very wide variety of items, that I haven't seen anywhere else as of yet. The biggest downside is the almost triple markup. A 99 cent can of Arizona sweet tea is $2.50 USD. A small bottle of Claritin is $100 USD. The basket I'm attaching a picture of, was selling for $400 USD.
Despite the interesting selection of products, I am very disappointed after leaving the store. The staff is reluctant to provide any type of service, they are absolutely uninterested in helping clients. The prices are not just high, they are ridiculously high. Prices are not marked on the items so it's always an unpleasant surprise when you get to check-out register. I might understand the high prices if the items had been imported (although still not this high!) but none of the items are marked with any labels that indicate they were actually imported through any legal channels. After reading all the other reviews about expiration dates not being respected and being downright deceitful, it now seems very plausible that the store is completely unregulated and I am even more disappointed.
Amazing selection of products. That's not the problem,,,,,Nothing has a price marked on it. So I guess that is the surprise at the cash. Unacceptable.
Additionally, they have a nice little table at the front if the store offering samples. No sanitary measures and people using their hands to take samples. During a pandemic . What are you thinking?
Excellent collection of "American" food items. Was amazed to find Sun Chips as well as Flavoured Philadelphia Cheese. Girahdelli chocolates also found here.
